Core Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems according to established schedules and procedures
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures and execute timely, effective repairs to minimize unplanned production downtime
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and document findings accurately using maintenance tracking software or written logs
  • Assist senior technicians and maintenance engineers with complex troubleshooting tasks and equipment overhaul projects
  • Replace worn or defective parts including belts, bearings, motors, sensors, and other critical components
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the facility at all times
  • Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements without exception
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests from production supervisors and floor personnel
  • Support facilities maintenance tasks including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems as needed
  • Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing equipment failures and increasing overall operational efficiency

Must-Have Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or a related field strongly preferred
  • Minimum one year of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment
  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems, basic electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Familiarity with lockout/tagout safety procedures and general OSHA workplace safety standards
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and occasional overtime as operational needs require
  • Physical ability to lift up to fifty pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spaces or at elevated heights when necessary
