Core Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, production lines, and facility systems to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures on machinery and report findings to senior technicians and supervisors
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications as directed by engineering and maintenance leadership
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues before they result in unplanned outages
- Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection records using both paper-based and digital systems
- Support compliance with all safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to output
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing equipment reliability and reducing maintenance costs
Must-Have Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical vocational training or associate degree in a related field is strongly preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or facilities maintenance environment
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems including motors, conveyors, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to read basic schematics and wiring diagrams
- Understanding of lockout/tagout safety procedures and general industrial safety practices
- Ability to use standard hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively and safely
- Strong attention to detail, dependable work ethic, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and climbing ladders for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights or weekends, as operational needs require
