Core Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and maintenance of detailed financial models, including DCF, LBO, merger consequence, and comparable company analyses specific to healthcare transactions
  • Prepare pitch books, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and other transaction materials for client engagements
  • Conduct comprehensive industry research and competitive landscape analyses across healthcare subsectors including hospitals, physician groups, behavioral health, life sciences, and digital health
  • Coordinate due diligence processes, manage data rooms, and interface with legal, accounting, and operational advisors throughout transaction execution
  • Support senior bankers in client meetings, calls, and relationship development activities
  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and strategic partners on behalf of sell-side and buy-side clients
  • Monitor healthcare industry trends, regulatory developments, and public market activity to generate actionable insights and new business opportunities
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts within the team

Must-Have Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred
  • Two to four years of investment banking experience, with demonstrated deal execution experience in M&A advisory
  • Prior exposure to healthcare sector transactions is highly preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and valuation methodologies
  • Strong command of PowerPoint and Excel in a professional transaction context
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering polished, accurate work product
  • Series 79 and Series 63 licenses preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
