Core Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatic conditions
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, ERCP, and other advanced interventional techniques as applicable
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including surgery, oncology, radiology, and primary care to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in inpatient consultations and manage admitted patients with complex GI conditions
  • Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with all regulatory and institutional standards
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and procedural efficiency
  • Mentor and support advanced practice providers, residents, and fellows as appropriate
  • Stay current with emerging research, clinical guidelines, and advances in gastroenterology practice

Must-Have Requirements
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution with successful completion of an ACGME-accredited gastroenterology fellowship program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Active and unrestricted medical license, or eligibility to obtain licensure in the applicable state
  • Demonstrated proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy
  • Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to patient-centered care
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both patients and colleagues
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education
