Senior Net Revenue Analyst

Salary Range: $99,000 – $130,000 per year
Position Summary
A growing healthcare organization seeks an experienced Senior Net Revenue Analyst to join its Finance department in Houston, Texas. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring an onsite presence with the ability to report on short notice. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in net revenue analysis, healthcare accounting practices, and specialized financial software platforms. Core Responsibilities

• Analyze and reconcile net revenue across multiple business units and service lines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare accounting standards
• Prepare detailed revenue variance reports and ad-hoc analyses to support executive leadership decision-making and strategic planning
• Manage revenue posting, adjustments, and write-offs while maintaining detailed documentation and audit trails
• Collaborate with clinical departments, billing teams, and revenue cycle management to identify discrepancies and implement corrective action plans
• Monitor key performance indicators related to net revenue recognition and provide monthly performance dashboards to stakeholders
• Develop and maintain complex spreadsheet models and automated reporting tools to streamline analysis processes
• Ensure all revenue transactions comply with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies
• Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements related to revenue accounting platforms
• Support external audits by providing detailed documentation, explanations, and analysis of revenue transactions
• Train and mentor junior team members on revenue analysis processes and best practices
• Research and resolve complex revenue accounting issues, consulting with accounting leadership when necessary

Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum seven years of net revenue experience in a healthcare setting
• Expert-level proficiency with Kodiak financial software platform (non-negotiable requirement)
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency with advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, and data analysis tools
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings to finance and clinical leadership
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Familiarity with healthcare billing cycles, insurance reimbursement, and revenue recognition standards
• Experience with financial systems integration and data management
